In collaboration with the city and local artists, The Carter Center commissions an original mural illustrating the powerful impact of access to information for women. Murals are highly accessible displays of this fundamental human right, sparking community dialogue about the value of information and serving as a continuous reminder of its positive impacts for women. During the painting process, local artists engage community members to create the mural through a community paint day and invite the public to join in the mural’s inauguration.
